Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies aligned with client business objectives and market trends
- Manage media relations, pitching stories to top-tier journalists and securing high-impact coverage
- Oversee crisis communications protocols and provide strategic counsel during brand challenges
- Lead cross-functional teams including content creators, digital marketers, and social specialists
- Analyze campaign performance using KPIs and ROI metrics to optimize future initiatives
- Cultivate long-term relationships with key media contacts and industry influencers
- Manage PR budget allocation and vendor partnerships
Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive PR experience with demonstrated success in B2B tech or consumer brands
- Proven track record of securing coverage in major outlets (TechCrunch, Forbes, WSJ, etc.)
- Certificate in Public Relations or Communications (preferred)
- Expertise in SEO-driven PR strategies and digital amplification techniques
- Exceptional writing skills with portfolio of press releases, op-eds, and pitch decks
- Experience managing PR during mergers, acquisitions, or rebranding initiatives
- Proficiency in Cision, Meltwater, or similar media monitoring platforms
