- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with top-tier journalists, editors, and industry influencers.
- Lead proactive media outreach efforts and secure high-impact placements in national and trade publications.
- Oversee crisis communication protocols to protect and enhance brand equity during sensitive periods.
- Analyze media performance data to refine messaging and report on campaign KPIs to executive stakeholders.
- Manage the internal press office and collaborate with creative teams to produce compelling digital content.
- Direct high-profile launch events and press junkets, ensuring seamless execution and media attendance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in agency or in-house PR, with a proven track record in lifestyle or corporate branding.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a portfolio of published media placements.
- Deep understanding of the New York media landscape and global industry trends.
- Proficiency in media monitoring tools such as Muck Rack, Cision, or Meltwater.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple high-priority stakeholders.
