Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design process, from concept and wireframing to high-fidelity UI and prototyping.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform design decisions.
- Create and maintain a scalable design system that ensures consistency across all touchpoints.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure pixel-perfect implementation and seamless user experiences.
- Mentor junior designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Advocate for accessibility standards (WCAG) to ensure our products are inclusive for all users.
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders to gain buy-in and alignment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of projects.
- Expert proficiency in Figma, with experience in prototyping and design systems.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex design decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
- Experience with HTML/CSS is a strong plus.
