Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design process for complex product features, from research and wireframing to high-fidelity prototyping.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and uncover new opportunities.
- Mentor junior designers and conduct regular design critiques to foster a culture of excellence.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business goals.
- Maintain and expand our company-wide design system to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Advocate for accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles across all projects.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX/Product design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating complex project delivery.
- Mastery of design tools, specifically Figma, with proficiency in Sketch and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript to effectively communicate with developers.
- Experience working in agile environments and using data to inform design decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to non-design audiences.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced agency or startup environment.
