We are looking for a visionary Senior Product Designer to join our elite creative team in New York City. In this role, you will own the end-to-end design process for our high-profile clients, leading a team of talented creatives and collaborating closely with engineering to bring complex concepts to life.
Responsibilities
- Lead Design Strategy: Spearhead the creation and evolution of the company’s design system, ensuring consistency across all digital touchpoints.
- User-Centric Solutions: Conduct in-depth user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing to validate design decisions and drive product innovation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into intuitive, scalable design solutions.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior designers and interns, fostering a culture of creativity, growth, and technical excellence within the studio.
- Visual Excellence: Create high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes that showcase a deep understanding of typography, color theory, and motion design.
- Brand Advocacy: Act as the voice of the user in internal meetings, ensuring that every feature delivered aligns with the core brand values and user needs.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in Product Design, UI/UX Design, or Graphic Design.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced fluency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools like Principle or Framer.
- Portfolio: A robust, case-study-driven portfolio demonstrating complex problem-solving, a strong aesthetic sense, and a history of shipping successful products.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate design rationales to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field (equivalent professional experience is accepted).
- Agile Mindset: Experience working in an agile development environment, with a proven track record of adapting to fast-paced, iterative workflows.
