Job Description
Join the Vanguard of Digital Experience Design.
Nexus Creative is on the hunt for a visionary Senior Product Designer to lead the evolution of our flagship digital platform. We are not just looking for someone who makes things look good; we need a strategic thinker who understands user behavior, business goals, and the nuances of modern web design.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex technical requirements and elegant, intuitive user interfaces. You will work directly with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define the roadmap of our next-generation products. If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are passionate about creating pixel-perfect, accessible, and scalable designs, we want to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Lead Design Strategy: Own the end-to-end design process for key product features, from initial concept and wireframing to high-fidelity UI design and final delivery.
- Design Systems: Contribute to and evolve our comprehensive design system, ensuring consistency across all digital touchpoints and reducing design debt.
- User-Centric Research: Conduct and synthesize user research to uncover pain points and validate design assumptions, ensuring our solutions solve real user problems.
- Prototyping & Validation: Create interactive prototypes to test workflows and validate usability before development begins.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently, providing clear design specs and support.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback to foster a culture of growth and excellence within the design team.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in Product Design, UX/UI, or Interaction Design.
- Tools: Advanced proficiency in Figma (design and prototyping) and a strong command of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
- Portfolio: A robust, case-study driven portfolio demonstrating your process, problem-solving skills, and visual aesthetic.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Technical Knowledge: Experience with front-end development concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a strong plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex design concepts to non-design audiences.
- Mindset: A growth mindset, adaptability, and a passion for staying current with design trends and technologies.
