Responsibilities
- Lead Design Initiatives: Own the end-to-end design process for key product features, from wireframing to high-fidelity prototypes.
- User-Centric Research: Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform design decisions and validate assumptions.
- Design Systems: Contribute to and maintain our internal design system to ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints.
- Collaboration: Partner with engineering teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
- Mentorship: Guide junior designers and provide constructive feedback to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Brand Alignment: Ensure all creative output aligns with Lumina's premium brand identity and voice.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in Product Design or UX/UI Design.
- Tool Proficiency: Expert level in Figma, with a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD).
- Portfolio: A strong, diverse portfolio demonstrating a range of projects, including mobile and web applications.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex design concepts to non-design stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate user feedback into actionable design improvements.
