Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to meet business objectives while ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to secure favorable pricing and service levels.
- Cost Reduction: Analyze market trends and internal data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvement.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and lead times to prevent stockouts and overstock situations, optimizing working capital.
- Compliance: Ensure all purchasing activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and project management teams to align procurement goals.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Negotiation: Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and vendor agreements with a strong focus on value and risk mitigation.
- Certification: CPSM, CPM, or PMP certification is highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
