Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Lead end-to-end procurement cycles for complex categories, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Vendor Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, conducting regular performance reviews and contract renewals.
- Contract Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate high-value contracts to secure favorable terms and mitigate risks.
- Market Analysis: Conduct rigorous market research and competitor analysis to inform sourcing strategies.
- Cost Control: Implement and monitor budget adherence, reporting on variances and forecasting future spend.
- Process Improvement: Streamline procurement workflows and integrate new technologies (e.g., ERP systems) to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Certification: CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) qualification is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP, Coupa) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Communication: Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management skills, capable of communicating complex information to diverse audiences.
- Language: Fluent in English (written and verbal).
