Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies to identify, evaluate, and select suppliers that align with our quality standards and financial goals.
- Vendor Negotiation: Lead high-level negotiations with vendors to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs) that maximize value for the organization.
- Cost Management: Analyze market trends and internal spend data to implement cost-saving initiatives and drive operational efficiency across departments.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Collaborate with logistics and inventory teams to forecast demand and ensure timely procurement, mitigating risks associated with supply disruptions.
- Contract Management: Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and organizational policies.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and provide innovative procurement solutions that support business objectives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing, preferably within a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) for data analysis.
- Negotiation: Proven track record of successfully negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of international trade compliance and local regulations is a plus.
