In this role, you will command our global purchasing strategy, foster high-value vendor relationships, and drive operational efficiency across our multinational operations.
You will be working in our Chicago headquarters, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize costs and minimize risk in an ever-evolving market.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to achieve cost-saving targets.
- Manage end-to-end sourcing processes, from RFP/RFQ generation to final contract negotiation.
- Analyze supply market trends to identify potential risks and new opportunities for efficiency.
- Oversee vendor performance management, conducting regular audits and business reviews.
- Collaborate with finance and legal teams to ensure compliance with procurement policies.
- Implement sustainable and ethical sourcing initiatives throughout the supply chain.
- Mentor and lead junior purchasing staff to foster a high-performance culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement.
- Proven track record of managing high-budget categories and complex vendor contracts.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and data visualization tools.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership capabilities.
- CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) certification is highly preferred.
- Experience in logistics or industrial supply chain environments is a major plus.
