Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive policy frameworks across multiple federal agencies.
- Serve as the primary liaison between executive leadership and legislative committees to ensure alignment on strategic goals.
- Conduct high-level quantitative and qualitative research to inform data-driven decision-making processes.
- Oversee a multi-million dollar portfolio of public-sector modernization projects from conception through to evaluation.
- Draft executive briefings, white papers, and regulatory comments for senior cabinet-level officials.
- Mentor and guide a team of junior policy analysts to maintain a high standard of analytical excellence.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Law, or a related field; Ph.D. or J.D. preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in government relations, policy analysis, or public sector consulting.
- Demonstrated expertise in legislative processes and regulatory compliance at the federal or state level.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Active Top Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one within six months of hire.
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams in high-pressure, mission-critical environments.
