Responsibilities
- Lead the development of comprehensive digital policy frameworks to modernize public service delivery.
- Advise senior government stakeholders on emerging technologies, including AI, blockchain, and cloud computing.
- Coordinate cross-agency initiatives to eliminate data silos and improve inter-departmental collaboration.
- Draft high-impact policy briefs and legislative recommendations for executive review.
- Engage with private sector partners to foster public-private partnerships that drive innovation.
- Oversee the implementation of accessibility standards (Section 508) across all new digital platforms.
- Manage a multidisciplinary team of policy analysts and technical consultants to achieve project milestones.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Public Policy, Computer Science, or a related field (PhD or JD preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in public sector policy development or large-scale digital transformation.
- Proven track record of navigating complex regulatory environments and multi-stakeholder governance.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical leadership.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity protocols and data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, FISMA).
- Experience managing multi-million dollar budgets and vendor contracts.
- Active security clearance or the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance is required.
