Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end drug discovery projects from target validation to lead optimization.
- Design and execute complex in vitro and in vivo assays to evaluate compound efficacy.
- Analyze large-scale datasets using bioinformatics tools to derive actionable insights.
- Mentor junior scientists and foster a culture of rigorous scientific excellence.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with medicinal chemistry and clinical pharmacology teams.
- Present research findings to internal leadership and external stakeholders.
- Ensure all laboratory operations adhere to GLP and strict safety compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Deep expertise in molecular assay development and small molecule drug screening.
- Proven track record of publications or patents in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., GraphPad Prism, R, or Python).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge complex scientific concepts.
- Experience in neurodegenerative or oncology therapeutic areas is highly preferred.
