Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end drug discovery programs from lead identification to preclinical transition.
- Design and execute robust assays to evaluate compound potency and pharmacological profiles.
- Collaborate with medicinal chemistry teams to optimize hit-to-lead and lead-optimization campaigns.
- Author and review technical reports, regulatory filings, and peer-reviewed scientific publications.
- Mentor junior research associates and foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Present data findings to executive leadership and external stakeholders.
- Stay at the forefront of scientific literature and emerging therapeutic modalities.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related pharmaceutical science.
- 5+ years of post-doctoral or industry experience in pharmaceutical drug discovery.
- Deep expertise in high-throughput screening and structure-activity relationship (SAR) analysis.
- Proficiency in data analysis software such as GraphPad Prism, Dotmatics, or equivalent.
- Strong track record of scientific contributions, including high-impact publications or patents.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced R&D environment.
- Strong cross-functional communication and project management capabilities.
