Responsibilities
- Lead design, execution, and interpretation of complex in vitro and in vivo pharmacology studies
- Develop and optimize novel drug candidates using advanced molecular and cellular biology techniques
- Collaborate with computational biologists to integrate AI/ML insights into experimental design
- Mentor junior scientists and oversee project timelines deliverables
- Present findings at cross-functional team meetings and scientific conferences
- Ensure compliance with FDA/EMA regulations and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in target validation and lead optimization for therapeutic proteins
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals (e.g., Nature, Science, Cell)
- Hands-on experience with CRISPR screening and high-throughput screening platforms
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex research projects with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (R, Python) and scientific visualization tools
