Responsibilities
- Design and execute complex preclinical research studies to validate novel therapeutic targets
- Lead interdisciplinary teams in developing and optimizing drug candidates
- Author high-impact publications and patent applications for novel compounds
- Ensure compliance with FDA/EMA regulations and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
- Present research findings to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Mentor junior scientists and drive innovation in experimental methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Chemistry, or related life sciences with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in high-throughput screening and assay development
- Strong background in pharmacokinetics and toxicology profiling
- Track record of advancing at least 2 compounds to IND stage
- Proficiency with advanced analytical instrumentation (HPLC, LC-MS/MS)
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional project teams
- Published research in peer-reviewed pharmaceutical journals
