Responsibilities
- Design and execute complex preclinical studies to evaluate drug efficacy and safety profiles
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing novel therapeutic compounds for neurological disorders
- Analyze and interpret biological data using advanced statistical methodologies and AI-driven platforms
- Ensure compliance with FDA, EMA, and ICH regulatory guidelines throughout research phases
- Present findings to stakeholders and contribute to intellectual property development
- Mentor junior scientists and optimize laboratory workflows for maximum efficiency
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, or related life science field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in in vivo and in vitro drug discovery methodologies
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed pharmaceutical journals
- Proficiency with GLP-compliant laboratory equipment and analytical instrumentation
- Demonstrated knowledge of FDA/EMA regulatory pathways for drug approval
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex data to diverse audiences
- Experience with CRO partnerships and clinical trial protocol development
