Responsibilities
- Lead design, execution, and analysis of complex preclinical studies in therapeutic areas
- Develop and optimize novel drug candidates using advanced molecular biology and biochemistry techniques
- Interpret experimental data and prepare regulatory documentation for FDA submissions
- Mentor junior scientists and coordinate cross-functional project teams
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in pharmaceutical research
- Present findings at scientific conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, or related life sciences with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in drug discovery methodologies and preclinical trial protocols
- Strong proficiency in analytical techniques (HPLC, LC-MS, NMR) and cell culture systems
- Demonstrated success in IND-enabling studies and regulatory compliance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with publication record
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in fast-paced environment
