Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end drug discovery projects from target identification to lead optimization.
- Design and execute complex in vitro and in vivo assays to evaluate candidate efficacy.
- Analyze large-scale datasets to identify novel biological targets and pathways.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with bioinformatics, clinical development, and regulatory affairs teams.
- Supervise junior laboratory staff and provide technical mentorship to foster professional growth.
- Prepare high-quality scientific reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and external peer-reviewed publications.
- Ensure all research activities remain in strict compliance with GLP and company safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related life sciences discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of post-doctoral or industry experience in pharmaceutical research.
- Proven track record of successful drug discovery programs and peer-reviewed research.
- Expertise in molecular cloning, CRISPR, and high-throughput screening technologies.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis software such as GraphPad Prism, R, or Python.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex findings to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented biotech environment.
