Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end drug discovery projects from target validation through to lead optimization.
- Design and execute complex experimental protocols using high-throughput screening technologies.
- Analyze large-scale biological datasets to identify trends and validate efficacy.
- Mentor junior research staff and foster a culture of rigorous scientific inquiry.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including regulatory and clinical affairs, to align research milestones.
- Author technical reports, patent applications, and peer-reviewed scientific publications.
- Maintain compliance with all laboratory safety standards and cGMP/GLP protocols.
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related life science discipline.
- Minimum of 5+ years of post-doctoral or pharmaceutical industry research experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in assay development and small molecule or biologics drug discovery.
- Proficiency in statistical software and data visualization tools (e.g., GraphPad, R, Python).
- Strong track record of scientific publication and successful project delivery.
- Excellent collaborative skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Deep understanding of FDA regulatory pathways and clinical trial lifecycles.
