Responsibilities
- Lead design, execution, and analysis of complex preclinical research studies in oncology and immunology
- Develop and optimize novel drug formulations using advanced delivery systems
- Manage research budgets and timelines for multiple concurrent projects
- Present findings to senior leadership and regulatory bodies
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to departmental innovation initiatives
- Ensure compliance with FDA, GCP, and ICH guidelines
- Collaborate with CROs and academic institutions for preclinical trials
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in small molecule synthesis, ADME profiling, and formulation development
- Proven track record of publishing high-impact research in peer-reviewed journals
- Strong proficiency in HPLC, LC-MS, and cell-based assay methodologies
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and external collaborations
- Demonstrated knowledge of FDA drug development pathways
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Preferred: 2+ years in oncology/immunology therapeutic areas
