Responsibilities
- Lead and execute complex drug discovery projects from target identification to preclinical development
- Design and conduct experiments to evaluate compound efficacy, pharmacokinetics, and safety profiles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including chemists, biologists, and clinical researchers
- Analyze and interpret high-dimensional data using advanced statistical and computational methods
- Develop and optimize experimental protocols to ensure regulatory compliance and reproducibility
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to scientific publications and patent applications
- Stay current with emerging technologies and methodologies in pharmaceutical research
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in target identification, assay development, and lead optimization
- Strong background in in vitro and in vivo pharmacology models
- Experience with GLP/GMP protocols and regulatory documentation (IND/CTA preparation)
- Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., GraphPad Prism, R, Python)
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to present complex data to stakeholders
- Track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals and/or patents
