Responsibilities
- Design and execute complex preclinical studies for novel drug candidates
- Lead cross-functional teams in drug formulation and process optimization
- Analyze biological data and prepare regulatory documentation (IND/CTA)
- Develop strategic research plans aligned with therapeutic pipeline goals
- Mentor junior scientists and optimize lab protocols for efficiency
- Collaborate with CROs and academic institutions for external research
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Medicinal Chemistry, or related field
- 5+ years of industry experience in drug discovery and development
- Expertise in in vitro/vivo pharmacology and PK/PD modeling
- Proven track record of advancing compounds to clinical stages
- Strong knowledge of FDA/EMA regulatory guidelines
- Publication record in peer-reviewed pharmaceutical journals
- Experience with GLP/GMP laboratory practices
