Responsibilities
- Lead complex R&D projects from initial target identification through to preclinical validation.
- Design and execute high-throughput screening assays to evaluate lead compounds.
- Analyze multi-dimensional biological data sets to identify potential drug targets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical, regulatory, and chemistry departments.
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of technical excellence and safety.
- Prepare technical reports and present findings to executive leadership and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a closely related scientific discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral or industry experience in pharmaceutical drug discovery.
- Proven track record of managing end-to-end laboratory research initiatives.
- Expertise in cellular assays, microscopy, and genomic analysis tools.
- Strong working knowledge of FDA regulations and GxP standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex data for diverse audiences.
