Responsibilities
- Design and execute advanced reservoir simulation models to enhance recovery factors
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in developing field development plans for unconventional assets
- Implement AI-driven production optimization techniques for shale plays
- Conduct economic analysis and risk assessment for drilling/completion projects
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in engineering workflows
- Collaborate with subsurface teams on well placement and hydraulic fracturing designs
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS/MBA preferred)
- 10+ years of upstream engineering experience in shale/tight formations
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, Nexus, Petrel)
- Strong background in drilling/completion operations and hydraulic fracturing
- Demonstrated success in leading capital projects >$50M
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with digital oilfield technologies and IoT integration
- Excellent problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making ability
