Responsibilities
- Design and optimize hydraulic fracturing programs for unconventional reservoirs
- Build and calibrate reservoir simulation models using Eclipse and Petrel
- Analyze production data to identify well performance enhancement opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing field development strategies
- Prepare AFEs (Authority for Expenditure) and cost-benefit analyses
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on reservoir engineering best practices
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of upstream oil & gas experience with shale plays
- Advanced proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, Petrel)
- Strong analytical skills for production data interpretation and forecasting
- Proven experience in hydraulic fracturing design and optimization
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Demonstrated project management experience with AFEs
- Excellent communication skills for technical presentations to stakeholders
