Responsibilities
- Lead reservoir simulation and modeling studies to forecast hydrocarbon production and optimize recovery factors.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement drilling and completion strategies.
- Analyze geological and engineering data to identify new drilling opportunities and enhance field development plans.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and budget estimates for executive stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Conduct well testing and performance analysis to ensure reservoir health and operational efficiency.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on complex field problems.
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards and industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience of 5+ years in upstream oil and gas operations, specifically in reservoir management.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, CMG, or similar reservoir simulators.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex geological data and reservoir models.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel to field sites and remote locations as required.
