Responsibilities

  • Lead reservoir simulation and modeling studies to forecast hydrocarbon production and optimize recovery factors.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement drilling and completion strategies.
  • Analyze geological and engineering data to identify new drilling opportunities and enhance field development plans.
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and budget estimates for executive stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
  • Conduct well testing and performance analysis to ensure reservoir health and operational efficiency.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on complex field problems.
  • Ensure all engineering activities comply with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards and industry regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience of 5+ years in upstream oil and gas operations, specifically in reservoir management.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, CMG, or similar reservoir simulators.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex geological data and reservoir models.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
