- Optimize content for SEO and social media algorithms to maximize reach and audience growth.
- Collaborate with the design and dev teams to create interactive data visualizations and digital graphics.
- Maintain a strong social media presence, breaking news in real-time and engaging directly with readers.
- Mentor junior reporters and contribute to the editorial team's strategic vision.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in journalism, with a strong portfolio demonstrating multimedia capabilities.
- Proven track record of breaking news coverage and feature-length investigative reporting.
- Proficiency in video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro) and audio recording (Adobe Audition).
- Strong command of AP Style and SEO best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
