The Role:
We are looking for a creative professional who can bridge the gap between text and visual media. You will be responsible for generating original ideas, researching stories, and delivering content that resonates with our diverse demographic.
Responsibilities
- Develop and produce high-quality written, audio, and video content that adheres to strict journalistic standards.
- Research and report on breaking news, trends, and feature stories with accuracy, speed, and depth.
- Utilize SEO best practices to optimize articles and multimedia assets for search engines and drive organic traffic.
- Engage with the audience through social media platforms, live coverage, and interactive storytelling.
- Collaborate closely with editors, producers, and designers to shape the daily news cycle.
- Maintain a deep understanding of current events and emerging media trends.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in journalism or multimedia content creation.
- A relevant degree in Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and audio recording tools.
- Strong command of the English language with impeccable grammar, style, and research skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Experience with social media management and digital analytics is highly desirable.
