Responsibilities
- Develop and execute end-to-end seasonal merchandising strategies that align with global brand objectives.
- Lead cross-functional collaborations with Design, Production, and Marketing to ensure a cohesive product narrative.
- Analyze historical data and market trends to build high-conversion assortment plans and buy-strategies.
- Oversee OTB (Open-to-Buy) management, ensuring optimized inventory flow and healthy sell-through rates.
- Provide actionable insights through weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reporting to executive leadership.
- Drive pricing strategies and markdown cadences to maximize gross margin return on investment (GMROI).
- Conduct regular competitive landscape analysis to identify white-space opportunities and mitigate market risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in luxury retail merchandising or global buying.
- Advanced proficiency in retail math, financial planning, and inventory management systems.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar budgets and achieving aggressive growth targets.
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
