Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive merchandise financial plans, open-to-buy strategies, and inventory forecasts across multiple product categories.
- Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities and risks, adjusting plans accordingly.
- Collaborate closely with Buying, Product Development, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment on product strategies and promotional activities.
- Manage inventory levels to optimize stock turnover, reduce markdowns, and maximize profitability.
- Lead weekly and monthly business reviews, presenting insights and recommending actionable strategies to senior leadership.
- Oversee the allocation and replenishment processes, ensuring optimal product distribution to stores and online channels.
- Mentor and develop junior planning team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
- Utilize planning software and advanced analytical tools to enhance forecasting accuracy and reporting capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Merchandising, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in merchandise planning, inventory management, or financial planning within a retail environment.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful merchandise plans that drive sales and profitability.
- Expert proficiency in retail planning software (e.g., JDA, perencanaan, Logility) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex data to diverse audiences.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced retail environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with experience mentoring or managing direct reports.
