Responsibilities
- Design and execute preclinical oncology studies using advanced cellular and animal models
- Lead cross-functional research teams including biologists, bioinformaticians, and clinical coordinators
- Develop novel therapeutic protocols and analyze complex genomic/proteomic datasets
- Prepare high-impact publications for peer-reviewed journals and present findings at international conferences
- Collaborate with regulatory affairs to ensure compliance with FDA/ICH guidelines
- Manage research budgets and equipment resources efficiently
- Mentor postdoctoral fellows and junior scientists
Qualifications
- PhD or MD/PhD in Oncology, Molecular Biology, or related field with 8+ years research experience
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals (h-index >20)
- Expertise in CRISPR gene editing and next-generation sequencing technologies
- Strong proficiency in statistical analysis tools (R, Python, SAS)
- Familiarity with GCP/GLP protocols and regulatory submission processes
- Demonstrated experience leading NIH-funded research projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Active medical license or willingness to obtain Massachusetts license
