Key Responsibilities:
- Extract, clean, and validate complex datasets from Electronic Health Records (EHR) and other clinical sources.
- Develop and maintain statistical models to predict patient outcomes, readmission rates, and epidemiological trends.
- Design interactive dashboards and visualization tools to present data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and data governance standards.
- Conduct A/B testing and quality assurance on clinical workflows using data-driven insights.
Responsibilities
- Lead the extraction and transformation of large-scale medical datasets to support clinical research.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) for hospital operations.
- Maintain data integrity and accuracy across all reporting systems.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior analysts and data science interns.
- Produce regular reports on patient demographics and disease prevalence.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Biostatistics, Health Informatics, Epidemiology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare data analysis or a related technical role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn), and R.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Familiarity with healthcare standards like HL7, FHIR, and CPT coding.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
