Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end data analysis projects to support clinical decision-making and strategic planning.
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and data models to extract actionable insights from Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and healthcare standards.
- Create compelling visualizations and dashboards (using tools like Tableau or Power BI) to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Nursing, and Administration, to identify key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct statistical analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare data analysis or a similar analytical role.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation.
- Strong understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, ICD-10, CPT).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into business value.
- Certification in Healthcare Analytics or related field is a plus.
