Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end mechanical design of complex products, from concept sketches to final production drawings, using industry-standard CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA).
  • Conduct thorough mechanical analysis, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), to validate design integrity and optimize performance under various conditions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems with electrical and software components, ensuring seamless functionality.
  • Develop and manage prototypes, oversee testing protocols, and iterate on designs based on empirical data and user feedback.
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation, including BOMs (Bill of Materials), assembly instructions, and design specifications for manufacturing teams.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on design best practices and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in mechanical design, preferably within the automotive, robotics, or industrial manufacturing sectors.
  • Proficient in 3D modeling and 2D drafting with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo.
  • Strong working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards.
