Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design of high-performance products from concept through to mass production.
- Utilize CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to create detailed 3D models and 2D engineering drawings.
- Perform stress analysis and finite element analysis (FEA) to validate product durability and safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing specialists.
- Source materials and manage vendor relationships to ensure strict quality control and cost efficiency.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Proficient in 3D modeling software (SolidWorks, Inventor, or CATIA) with advanced certification preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Experience with prototyping methods, rapid prototyping, and additive manufacturing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
