Responsibilities
- Lead product design lifecycle from concept to production using CAD and simulation tools
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal modeling for performance optimization
- Develop manufacturing processes and documentation for complex mechanical systems
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews for quality assurance
- Collaborate with R&D teams on material innovation and prototype testing
- Implement DFM/DFA principles to enhance manufacturing efficiency
- Manage project timelines and budgets while ensuring compliance with industry standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and ANSYS simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and manufacturing processes
- Experience with mechatronics integration and motion systems design
- Proven track record in leading cross-functional engineering projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
