Responsibilities
- Lead design and validation of mechanical assemblies for aerospace applications
- Perform FEA/CFD analysis using ANSYS and SolidWorks Simulation
- Develop detailed manufacturing drawings with GD&T specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product performance
- Conduct prototype testing and failure analysis in lab environments
- Manage design documentation and compliance with AS9100 standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in precision mechanical design
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and PDMWorks
- Expertise in materials selection for aerospace applications
- Experience with tolerance analysis and DFM principles
- Knowledge of composite manufacturing processes
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
