Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot automated assembly lines and robotic workstations to maximize throughput and minimize downtime.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify waste and streamline processes.
- Collaborate closely with R&D and Supply Chain teams to translate engineering designs into efficient, cost-effective manufacturing processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for production bottlenecks and implement sustainable engineering solutions.
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety standards, ISO 9001 quality systems, and environmental regulations.
- Oversee capital equipment budgeting and manage vendor relationships for maintenance and upgrades.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
- Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and Quality Management Systems.
- Excellent analytical skills with a proven track record of process optimization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and lead technical projects effectively.
