Responsibilities
- Process Optimization: Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Lean Six Sigma) to enhance production workflow, reduce waste, and increase throughput.
- Automation & Technology: Design, implement, and troubleshoot automated systems and robotics to modernize manufacturing lines.
- Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance schedules and lifecycle of production machinery, collaborating with maintenance teams to prevent downtime.
- Quality Assurance: Develop and enforce rigorous quality control protocols to ensure all products meet ISO and customer specifications.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and production staff, fostering a culture of safety, precision, and continuous learning.
- Cost Reduction: Analyze production data to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Compliance: Ensure all manufacturing processes adhere to OSHA safety standards and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in a high-precision or automated environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and familiarity with PLC programming and CNC machinery.
- Methodologies: Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus).
- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical skills with a proven track record of resolving complex engineering challenges.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work in a manufacturing plant environment and adapt to changing production demands.
