Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain large-scale machine learning pipelines in production.
- Collaborate with data scientists to translate research models into optimized software services.
- Optimize model inference performance using hardware acceleration (CUDA/TPU).
- Implement CI/CD best practices for ML workflows (MLOps).
- Mentor junior engineers and promote rigorous code review standards.
- Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and improve model accuracy.
- Stay current with state-of-the-art developments in deep learning and NLP.
Qualifications
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning or software engineering.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
- Solid foundation in distributed systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of shipping complex features.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
