Responsibilities
- Oversee the full project lifecycle (Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring, and Closure) for large-scale federal IT programs.
- Manage cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and subject matter experts, ensuring alignment with agency goals.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal compliance frameworks such as FISMA, FedRAMP, and OMB Circular A-123.
- Develop and manage project budgets, resource plans, and schedules to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively resolving blockers to maintain project momentum.
- Communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT Project Management within the public sector or defense contracting.
- PMP, PgMP, or similar advanced project management certification is required.
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance is preferred.
- Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of federal procurement processes and ITIL best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to executive audiences.
