Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of complex financial models, including discounted cash flow (DCF), leveraged buyout (LBO), and merger consequence analyses.
- Conduct comprehensive industry research and company-specific due diligence to support transaction execution and pitch development.
- Draft and format client-facing materials, including confidential information memorandums (CIMs), management presentations, and pitch books.
- Collaborate with senior bankers to develop strategic recommendations for corporate clients across various sectors.
- Coordinate with internal teams (legal, accounting, compliance) and external stakeholders to ensure seamless deal execution.
- Monitor market trends, macroeconomic indicators, and regulatory changes to identify emerging opportunities and risks.
- Mentor and review the work of incoming junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a highly quantitative field from a top-tier institution.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of direct experience in investment banking, private equity, or top-tier transaction advisory.
- Expert proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex financial data into clear, compelling presentations (PowerPoint).
- Deep understanding of corporate finance, capital markets, and M&A transaction processes.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy.
- Active Series 79 and 63 licenses (or willingness to obtain immediately upon hire).
