Responsibilities
- Lead complex investigative projects with national significance

- Collaborate with data analysts and visual journalists

- Mentor junior journalists and editorial interns
- Develop story pitches aligned with editorial strategy
Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional journalism experience
- Proven track record of investigative reporting portfolio
- Expertise in FOIA requests, public records research, and data analysis
- Exceptional writing and storytelling abilities across formats
- Demonstrated ability to work under deadline pressure
- Strong on-camera presence and interview skills
- Experience managing investigative projects from concept to publication
