Responsibilities
- Lead in-depth investigations on politics, social justice, and corporate accountability
- Develop and execute multi-platform story strategies (digital, broadcast, print)
- Manage editorial budgets and coordinate with production teams for multimedia content
- Mentor junior journalists and contribute to editorial policy development
- Build and maintain trusted sources across government, NGO, and private sectors
- Present findings at industry conferences and represent GNN at high-profile events
Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional journalism experience with 3+ in investigative reporting
- Proven track record of impactful stories published in major outlets
- Expertise in FOIA requests, data analysis, and undercover techniques
- Strong portfolio demonstrating multimedia storytelling capabilities
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in high-pressure environments
- Journalism degree or equivalent practical experience required
- Valid U.S. work authorization and ability to travel domestically/internationally
