Responsibilities
- Design Leadership: Lead the conceptualization and design development of interior architecture projects from initial client meetings through to construction documentation.
- Technical Drafting: Create detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, and 3D renderings using AutoCAD, Revit, and Rhino.
- Client Relations: Present design concepts and proposals to clients, incorporating feedback and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Project Management: Coordinate with project managers and contractors to ensure designs are implemented accurately and on schedule.
- Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to local building codes, zoning laws, and sustainability standards (LEED certification).
- Material Selection: Curate high-quality materials, finishes, and furniture selections that align with the project's aesthetic and budget.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in interior architecture or related fields.
- Licensure: Registered Architect (AIA) or NCIDQ certification preferred.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
- Portfolio: A strong, professional portfolio demonstrating a range of project types and design capabilities.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex design ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
