Responsibilities
- Analyze complex commercial insurance applications and risk profiles
- Develop tailored coverage solutions for high-value accounts
- Collaborate with brokers and clients to refine risk mitigation strategies
- Lead underwriting committee presentations for large risks
- Maintain accurate risk assessment documentation and compliance records
- Mentor junior underwriters and contribute to process improvements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial underwriting experience
- ACII or CPCU designation preferred
- Expertise in property/casualty or specialty lines
- Advanced analytical and risk assessment skills
- Strong negotiation and client relationship abilities
- Proficiency in underwriting software (Guidewire, Duck Creek)
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field
