Responsibilities

- Build and maintain strategic relationships with brokers, agents, and key industry stakeholders
- Drive process optimization through implementation of automation tools and AI-driven risk assessment
- Ensure compliance with state/federal regulations and emerging insurance technologies
- Lead quarterly portfolio reviews and recommend strategic adjustments based on loss trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial underwriting experience with property/casualty specialization
- Professional designation (CPCU, ARM, or AU) required
- Expertise in risk assessment modeling and predictive analytics tools
- Strong negotiation skills with proven track record of complex deal structuring
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and mentoring team members
- Deep knowledge of NY insurance regulations and emerging industry trends
- Advanced proficiency in underwriting software (e.g., Duck Creek, Guidewire)
