Responsibilities

- Develop tailored insurance policies with premiums exceeding $1M annually
- Lead cross-functional teams including actuaries, brokers, and claims specialists
- Maintain compliance with state/federal regulations and industry best practices
- Mentor junior underwriters through our proprietary growth framework
- Drive process improvements using AI-driven risk assessment tools
Qualifications
- 8+ years of commercial property underwriting experience
- CPCU designation or equivalent professional certification
- Expertise in catastrophe modeling and big data analytics
- Proven track record in high-value portfolio management
- Strong proficiency in insurance software (SAP, Duck Creek)
- Excellent negotiation skills with broker relationships
- Master's degree in Risk Management or Finance preferred
